In the wake of the massive oil spill occurring in the Gulf of Mexico, leaking 5,000 barrels of oil each day into the water off the shore of Louisiana, Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky has won the And/or Book award for photography. Burtynsky's book "Oil" depicts a decade of photographs exploring the impact of oil on landscapes around the world.
